I was recently invited to Superlife Co. event hosted at Cookyn (31 Ah Hood Road) to learn about superfoods. Superlife Co. is a local e-business launched in November 2014 that offers premium, 100% organic products to end user.
Their web portal provides the easy-to-follow solutions for Weight Loss, Anti-ageing, Energy Boasting and Wellness. If you browse through their website, there are simple and practical recipes using superfoods that are added advantage for end users who would like to incorporate these products into their lifestyle.
During the event session, the 3 founders ; Valerie Chai, Irene Lim and Feline Gondokusumo shared their stories and their relationship with superfoods. They also shared on how Superlife Co. guarantees the premium products. Their sources are globally from Europe, USA, Australia and the Andes Mountains bordering Peru. They also acquired their own organic farm in Peru overseeing by one of their Singaporean partners to ensure the quality of the products.
Throughout the session, we were treated with delicacies made from Superlife Co. ingredients.
Also, we witnessed the end products of the final 3 from The Super Chef Challenge by Superlife Co. The competition ran for 3 weeks and 3 finalists were selected for the final round of judging based on creativity, taste and ease of preparation. The competition is to encourage individuals and home cooks to incorporate superfoods as an ingredient in their day-to-day cooking. Thus, this is a good effort to increase the awareness of superfoods to public.
We also get to hands on to do our DIY pudding using Superlife Co. products. Here is my end result.
