Audace Bar & Restaurant located within a walking distance from Jalan Besar MRT Station offers scrumptious Sunday brunch and also weekday lunch specials. The restaurant was opened in May 2017 and helmed by Chef Jeremy Gillon from Le Montana in the French Alps where he was executive chef of a trio of restaurants and led French restaurant L’Epocurien to receive its first ever Michelin star in year 2015.
We were told that Chef Jeremy will visit Tekka market weekly to source for ingredients apart from imported ingredients and infusing the dishes with wild herbs from French Alps. Thus, you can expect surprises dining here at Audace Bar & Restaurant.
I was here for their Sunday Brunch menu or we called it communal brunch. It comes with 6 Appertisers, 5 Main Courses, 5 Side Dishes and 5 Desserts for sharing.
Appetizers include Arugula Salad with parmesan, lemon and olive oil dressing, Pumpkin soup, Leek Salad with carvi and chorizo iberico, Focaccia with cooked ham & mascarpone black pepper, Sauteed Squid with eggplant and curry and Duck Terrine served with pickles as the side.
Apart from their Sunday brunch, Audace can offers two or three course set lunch menu priced at S$28.00++ and S$34.00++ per person. This set lunch menu changes every two weeks. The restaurant also offers French wine list , a selection of 5 classic tipples and 3 creation cocktails.
As a whole, the dining experience was enticing especially the flavours and elements on each individual dishes served. Diners will expect surprises each visit as the menu changes weekly. The dishes on the menu are subject to changes depending on the seasonal ingredients used.
