Pool Grill located at Level 5 of Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has the best poolside dining view. I was invited over to try out their new dishes from their ala-carte menu and their current on-going promotion item recently. The new dishes from ala-carte menu are available from 17 September 2018 onwards.
Before I start with the new dishes, allow me to share with you their current on-going promotion. Their Australian Wagyu Beef Florentine Steak ( 900gm to 1kg) is available from 13 August – 31 October 2018. This 400-day grain-def Westholme Wagyu Beef Florentine is specially imported from Queensland, Australia.
This dish is available at S$188.00++ each along with a choice of three sides (Beer Battered Potato Fritters, French Fries, Thyme & Garlic Mushroom ) and choice of sauce. It is advisable to share among 3-4 pax.
Moving on are the new dishes available from next week onwards.
Fresh Oysters Rockefeller/ Baked oyster- S$27.00++ (half dozen)
Freshly shucked oysters with mignonette sauce, which is a classic condiment traditionally served with oysters. It is simply delicious and tasty with the additional flavour.
Portobello Mushroom & Ricotta Tart S$24.00++
If you are a mushroom lover, be sure to check this out. Grilled radicchio, sautéed chopped Portobello mushrooms, baby greens and sour cream are beautifully decorated on top of the ricotta tart. It is also considered as a vegetarian tart as well.
Pan-Fried Cod Fish S$42.00++
Indulge in their pan-fried cod fish served with cauliflower tempura, confit garlic and shiraz reduction. The cod fish is pan fried perfectly. I enjoyed the crispiness on the outside and smooth and soft texture on the inside. And the best part is that it comes in a large serving portion.
