Ramen Champion Bugis + has another new addition outlet, Teppan No Hoshi. The brand offers a variety of Osaka classics such as okonomiyaki, modern yaki and yakisoba. Now you can enjoy okonomiyaki while having your ramen there.
Teppan No Hoshi features an open-kitchen concept where customers can see how their food is freshly prepared. With that, I took the opportunity to take snapshots while the chef is in action.
Here are the dishes that were introduced during the tasting session.
Their modern yaki version is served with noodles and topped with okonomiyaki sauce.
Teppan No Hoshi uses sliced cabbage instead of chopped cabbage for a crunchier texture and mix with batter for fluffy and light texture. And yes indeed the taste is lighter in flavour. I would still prefer the one that I tried during my trip to Japan. The taste is more flavourful.
Teppan No Hoshi side dishes are priced from S$9.80 onwards and okonomiyaki from S$12.80 onwards. They also offer fried rice as well.
To celebrate its opening, they are having 1-for-1 Pork Yakisoba on 23 September 2018.
