Melt Café, an all-day dining buffet restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Singapore is offering Indian Cuisine Dinner Menu from 8 April to 24 April 2022. Apart from the existing buffet spread, Indian Speciality Chef Santosh Kumar takes your palate on a tour of his hometown Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh, as he serves up a delectable array of dishes infused with a mélange of aromatic spices and Himachali style of cooking.
The promotional highlights include Pahadi Chicken (chargrilled marinated chicken with mint, coriander, and yoghurt), Tabak Maaz (marinated lamb ribs, milk, ghee and mélange of spices), Tawa Machhi (grilled fish with raw mango, mint and onion chutney), Mutton Tari Wala (chamba-style mutton curry with red chilli and coriander) and many more.
Diners can kick start with Salad Bar where there can get their appertizer first. Followed by the Salad and Appertizers station for dishes like Murabba (Himalayan Lemon with Rock Salt & Spring Onion), Grilled Prawn Salad with Tri-Color Pasta and Oven-Roasted Beetroot Salad.
Cheeselover can go for Cheese Platter station to pick and choose the gourmet selection of cheeses accompanied by jams, crackers, nuts and dried fruits. Or go for Charcuterie Platter that consists of Salami Milano, Wagyu Pastrami and Chicken Ham, Smoked Salmon & Smoked Rainbow Trout and many more.
Not to miss the Seafood Colosseum where diners can enjoy fresh Boston lobster, seasonal oysters, tiger prawns, white clams, green-lipped mussels, and mud crab.
Moving on is the Japanese Platter station for some selections of sashimi, sushi, gunkan and maki.
Asian Delights like double boiled chicken soup, sambal chicken fried rice, chilli seafood with mantou, wok-fried seasonal vegetables and teriyaki-glazed fried chicken and scallions are in the list too. Diners can indulge in crackling pork belly and barbecue pork char siew too.Not forgetting the signature prawn laksa at the noodle stall too.
Western lovers can opt for European Delights including slow cooked beef stew with hearty vegetables, pan-seared barramundi with mango salsa, white wine black mussels, coriander infused tomato soup and many more.
And do not miss the BBQ station at the alfresco area where you can get the selections of grilled seafood and meat. I enjoyed the Thai-style grilled pork neck and the herb marinated lamb chop. It is hot in demand. Others include honey-glazed chicken wings, grilled Cumberland sausage and Tiger prawn Jimbaran-style. However, this is available on Friday and Saturday only.
Lastly, the Dessert station that consists of a variety of bite-size cakes and assorted nyonya kueh. Also, look out for the classic bread and butter pudding with vanilla sauce. Kids will enjoy the baked waffle served with selection of vanilla and chocolate sauce, honey maple syrup and crunchy pearls or even fruit compote, fruit coulis and Chantilly cream. Seasonal fruit platter and gelato are available too.
