It has been a while since I last had a vegetarian meal. Elemen 元素 located at Millenia Walk is the newly 2 months old vegetarian restaurant which was introduced by Eileen over the tasting last weekend. It is accessible via Promenade MRT station. We were shared that the restaurant is operated under the subsidiary of the Koufu Management. And they are going to have second outlet opening at Thomson in few weeks time.

ChaoZhou Porridge is where epicureans can step back in time and relish the erstwhile Teowchew dishes. The head chef has over 10 years of experience and is learned in the way of Teochew cooking. Located at River Valley Road, the restaurant offer a range of dishes which include the Chaozhou signature and Chaozhou porridge. I was invited for food tasting session at SELA Restaurant few weeks back. It is located approximately 10 minutes walk from City Hall & Bugis MRT station. SELA is a restaurant offering modern European items with mixture of modern Asian creations for the newly revamp menu by Chef Benson.
Nan Hwa Chong Fishboat is the oldest (since 1927) fishhead steamboat in Singapore. If you ask your elderly, they will surely heard about it. It’s traditional fish soup steamboat represents Singapore’s heritage and memories to Singaporean. What makes them different from the rest is that the steamboats are prepared using charcoals instead of gas-stove steamboats. The soup is prepared with essence of fish bones and other secret ingredients. It takes at least 5 hours to cook so that the broth is silky smooth.
