Singapore Inside Out is a SG50 multi-disciplinary travelling showcase that has completed its tour around the creative capitals of Beijing, London and New York. The showcase is held from 27th November to 6 December 2015.
Held in conjunction with Singapore Inside Out is Singapore Takeout, which pays homage to culinary talents and will see more than 10 Singaporechefs serving up favourite local dishes with a modern and creative spin over two weekends (27 – 29 November and 4-6 December (6PM – 10PM Daily). Re-visited The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill for the second time as E wanted to try their foods. We had made a reservation before hand to avoid disappointment as weekend can be quite a demand. We were greeted by polite and friendly staff who led us to our table setting. You can read my first visit with my foodies friends.

Merdandy has recently expanded their second outlet at CBD areas which is just few minutes of walking distance from Raffles Place MRT station. This new venture has the alfresco settings where customers can chill out after work and watch soccer game together. However, their alcohol license is still pending at this moment and hopefully it will be in time for Christmas celebration. Nevertheless, mock tails are available in the menu. My first experience with UMA UMA was at their first outlet at Forum Shopping Mall a year ago. Located along the new and bustling Japanese Food Street at Millenia Walk, Uma Uma has expanded their 2nd outlet here as an Izakaya restaurant and bar. The newly opened (23 November 2015) Japanese restaurant features their grilled Yakitori and Kushikatsu, with cocktails and drinks by Horse’s Mouth and Hakata-styled Ramen from Uma Uma Ramen.
