We made our way to Pokemon Café at Nihonbashi for our lunch but it was fully reserved. In fact, the whole month of December is fully booked. So, if you are heading there, please make your reservation to avoid any disappointment. So, we saw this old Showa building that caught our attention. Hokkaido-Ya located at Vivocity Mall is a fast casual eatery serving Hokkaido-inspired dishes. Sushi Tei Pte Ltd is the team behind this new establishment. Hokkaido-Ya , which translates to Hokkaido-shop has an adorable mascot, Ezo modelled after ezo momonga (Japanese dwarf flying squirrel) sculpture in front of the shop entrance. [SG EATS] AFFORDABLE & VALUABLE BARASHI-TEI | JAPANESE RESTAURANT

Barashi-Tei located at Middle Road is a few weeks old Japanese Restaurant in town. The founder and chef, Mr Wang Zhen Feng picked up his culinary skills from a 60 years old Japanese Master Chef who has more than 40 years of experience. The restaurant is just conveniently located next to Le Café Confectionary & Pastry, the famous soya tarts.
