Din Kee Beef Noodle located at Bukit Indah is well-loved by locals and regulars. They used to have a stall opposite KSL before expanding their scale of business to a shop at Bukit Indah. Koon Kee 冠记 located in Petaling Street is known for its wanton mee. Online reviews said it is one of the famous wantan mee in the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The traditional shop has limited seating space with only a few dining tables. The shop is easily spotted when you see an elderly uncle selling Chinese pancakes in front of their store. I am back to Johor Bahru on a Sunday afternoon and my dad decided to bring me to Kulai for early dinner. He recommended this hidden gem roast duck place located along the main road. Apparently only the locals know about this food spot, and I did google about it. I am unable to find much information about this place too. Finally, the border is open and we can cross over the causeway without much protocol now. During my recent trip to Johor Bahru, I decided to revisit this old school mee hoon kueh shop at Taman Molek for lunch. 大豐麵粉粿 aka Kedai Makanan Mee Hoon Kueh established in 1986 as a pushcart stall in Taman Sentosa.
