[JAPAN EATS] My Din Tai Fung Dining Experience in Tokyo

Din Tai Fung is a well-known Taiwanese style restaurant and it is one of the must-visit restaurants when in Taipei, Taiwan. The restaurant specializes in Xiao Long Bao and their pork chop fried rice. We were in Tokyo for a week and decided to have Chinese food for dinner on one of the night. Apart from matcha desserts, Tokyo’s kakigori shaved ice desserts are recommended as well. We were looking for dessert place and came across this recommendation from online reviews. [JAPAN TRAVELS] Day trip to Nikko from Tokyo | Japan

Since we got the 5-Day JR East Pass, we decided to explore Nikko, Japan this time. Nikko (日光, Nikkō) is a small city in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture. It is also a center of Shinto and Buddhist mountain worship for many centuries before Toshogu was built in the 1600s. There are many attraction places to explore in Nikko itself but we only managed to explore limited places during our day trip there. I was invited by JPassport a week ago to attend Tottori Night at Japan Rail Café. Japan Rail Café is located at Tanjong Pagar Centre and easily accessible via Tanjong Pagar MRT station. It was my first time visiting Japan Rail Café although it has started operating since last year. The café has 3 sections which include retail corner, café area and also JTB counter. During my December trip to Tokyo, Japan, I spent half a day at Harajuku/ Omotesando area for a food search. Both areas are centrally-located neighbourhoods in Tokyo. It is my first time to Japan and I am enjoyed every moment here. Omotesando is one of the luxury neighbourhoods in Tokyo where luxury brands are located along the streets. [JAPAN EATS] ASAKUSA GYUKATSU – 5 WAYS TO ENJOY THE BEEF CUTLET IN TOKYO
