Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is a Japanese ramen restaurant renowned for its Hokkaido-style ramen and pork cheek. My sister and I visited one of their outlets in Central, Clark Quay over the weekend to check out their new ramen menu. Apparently Santouka is one of the best ramen in Tokyo and Singapore based on the google reviews. The founder, Hitoshi Hatanaka opened his own ramen shop at Hokkaido in 1988. The Japanese restaurant is a restaurant from Kanda, Tokyo and currently helmed by Japanese Chef Hara Shinji. The ingredients here are imported freshly every week from Japan. Tamoya Udon located at Liang Court Mall offers different types of udon dishes. The brand has 31 outlets across Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. This is my first time visiting the outlet even though I passed by whenever I am at Liang Court. Tamoya Udon was first established in 1996 by Chef Tamotsu Kurokawa, who was crowned the sanuki udon champion when he entered TV Champion, a reality cooking show in Japan.
