Another new ramen place to tick off your check list in Orchard Singapore. Menbaka Fire Ramen from Kyoto is opening its first overseas outlet in Singapore on 24 November at 3:40pm onwards. There will be 1-1 Promotion going on from 27 to 29 November. The brand is the inventor of Kyoto’s famous fire ramen and with only one outlet in Japan, this also makes Singapore its second outlet in the world. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka is a Japanese ramen restaurant renowned for its Hokkaido-style ramen and pork cheek. My sister and I visited one of their outlets in Central, Clark Quay over the weekend to check out their new ramen menu. Apparently Santouka is one of the best ramen in Tokyo and Singapore based on the google reviews. The founder, Hitoshi Hatanaka opened his own ramen shop at Hokkaido in 1988.
