Ban Heong Seng previously operating at an old single storey bungalow house located at Jalan Tahar has relocated at Taman Impian Emas about 2 years ago. Ho Seng Kee is known to be one of the best JB Wanton mee in Johor Bahru when you google online. Most Singaporeans will surely give this place a try when they are in Johor Bahru. Ho Seng Kee started off in the early 1940s and expanded to restaurant at City Square Mall, Johor Bahru. It is currently run by third generation. My last visit to “Restoran Todak” was almost 9 years ago! How time flies! The seafood restaurant is one of the well-known seafood restaurants by Singaporeans who frequent Johor Bahru (JB). There are other seafood restaurants next to it including TKK Seafood Restaurant and Tepi Pantai Restaurant. Fruitnity located at Mount Austin, Johor Bahru has recently launched new items on their menu. My first experience with the brand was at their first outlet, Taman Perling. So the outlet in Mount Austin is located few shops away from Creamery Boutique Ice-cream Parlour. This is to give you a general idea where it is located. [JB EATS] 5 MUST-TRY DISHES FROM DRAGON-I

If you are a frequent weekend traveller to JB, I bet you sure visited Dragon-I for their delicacies. Dragon-I restaurant delicacies is inspired by the rich and diverse culinary offerings from China especially from the regions of Shanghai, Szechuan, Beijing and Lanzhou. My first experience with Dragon-I was at Pavilion outlet in Kuala Lumpur 5 years back. Thus, when they expanded their outlet to Johor Bahru, I am glad that my family get a taste of it. Oh well, Uncle Pou Wok used to be my family favourite dinner place but nowadays we seldom visit them. The reason is because the waiting time during dinner hour can be very long. Their business is booming and they have opened several branches across Johor Bahru including Taman Mount Austin, Taman Impiana Emas, Bukit Indah and Permas Jaya. [JB EATS] 叶芳面家 – YAP FONG NOODLE HOUSE KOTA TINGGI – MY FAVOURITE NOODLES BACK ON THE OLD TIMES

I had an “amazing race” on Good Friday where we walked across the causeway and managed to clear JB immigration by 8.45am. I went home to take the car and we stopped at Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. And thankfully by the time we finished our meal, Yap Fong Noodle House just opened for business. The noodle shop usually opens at 12noon but they opened 30minutes earlier that day. We were in luck!
