Ding Xian Hotpot is the newest addition to Eat At Seven, Suntec City. This Hotpot Restaurant is the first ala carte hotpot restaurant in Singapore to offer both Blazing Magma Soup (Japanese spicy white miso soup) and Spicy Mala Soup under one roof.The restaurant is inspired by the spices from Sichuan and Chongqing. Dehesa has recently launched their new Power Lunch Sets Menu and I was invited down for the tasting session. Dehesa located along North Canal Road is a casual Spanish restaurant helmed by Chef-Owner Jean-Philippe Patruno. He is previously Executive Chef of Una at Rochester Park. The Japanese restaurant is a restaurant from Kanda, Tokyo and currently helmed by Japanese Chef Hara Shinji. The ingredients here are imported freshly every week from Japan. I am back to District 10 located at Suntec City over the weekend to check out their latest promotion; Great Lunch Steak-out. With only S$45.00 / per pax, you will get a 700gram T-bone Fiorentina Steak with a choice of 1 starter (Soup or salad). I was excited to be back to enjoy their succulent delicacies. Merdandy has recently expanded their second outlet at CBD areas which is just few minutes of walking distance from Raffles Place MRT station. This new venture has the alfresco settings where customers can chill out after work and watch soccer game together. However, their alcohol license is still pending at this moment and hopefully it will be in time for Christmas celebration. Nevertheless, mock tails are available in the menu.
