[SG EATS] .Elia at Jiak Chuan Road

.Elia located at 10 Jiak Chuan Road serves as a bistro by day and restaurant by night. They have taken over Oriole Coffee Roasters and did a change of the interior design. The place offers 30-seaters which is quite a cosy space. I visited the place during night time along with other blogger friends for a tasting session. Strangers’ Reunion has recently undergo renovation and added new dishes to the menu. So, Nicholas invited Karen, Zippy and me for dinner sometime back. Located along the stretch of shophouses at Kampong Bahru Road, the cafe is known for its coffee and waffles. The cafe is owned by Ryan Kieran Tan, Singapore National Barista Champion 2011 and 2012. Pompompurin Café located at Orchard Central is the first Sanrio character café in Singapore followed by Hello Kitty Café at Changi Airport. When the café first opened, many queued for hours for it. I didn’t join the hype to queue and finally visited the café over the weekend with E because E wanted to take cute selfie with the sanrio character. So irony, right? [SG EATS] KOKOMAMA MARKETPLACE –MORE THAN JUST SALTED EGG CROISSANT

To be frank, I have not heard about Kokomama until the salted egg croissant craze came in Singapore late last year. Kokomama is one of the few cafes that joined the food trend. Kokomama Marketplace is located at the School of The ARTS(SOTA) which is a walking distance from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station.
