I have the opportunity to attend the Chinese New Year tasting dinner menu at Tien Court that serves contemporary Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine at Copthorne King’s Hotel last week. Tien Court’s masterchef, Taipei-born Ho Tien Tsai has been around for more than 20 years. Fu Lin Men (which symbolises fortune bestowed upon one’s home) Dou Lao located at North Canal Road is founded by orthopaedic specialist and senior researcher, Professor Zhang Min from the costal province of Zhe Jiang. Fu Lin Men Dou Lao Restaurant was started in April 2015 by Professor Zhang and former banker, Simon Lim. I was invited to tasting with fellow foodie bloggers last Sunday for dinner session. KUVO is a multi-concept restaurant and bar located on the second floor of Orchard Shopping Centre. It is situated just above Robert Timms which is just beside 313 Somerset Shopping Mall.KUVO has recently updated with new concept and menu. I was invited along with other foodies to a tasting night last week. KUVO offers lunch choices and high tea during the day time and you can enjoy tapas and bespoke cocktail pairings during the night time. There is also unplugged ‘LIVE’ music band to chill and relax at night. The live band performance is only available on every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Claymore Connect is the latest addition mall in Orchard area. The mall was formerly known as the Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade. It was renovated and re-opened with a new outlook. I was here last month to meet my overdue date with a friend. She wanted to try Mon Bijou café which is located in the mall. [SG EATS][海底捞火锅] HaiDiLao Hot Pot 313 SOMERSET | ORCHARD

Finally! I tried the famous HaiDiLao last week with my foodie friends. HaiDiLao is known with their excellent service, quality foods and long waiting time. We tried to call to make reservation for the outlet at 313 Somerset but it is not allowed. Thus, one of the group, Nikki went around 4pm to secure the dinner table for 7pm. 海底捞火锅 HaiDiLao is a popular restaurant chain in China with origins in Sichuan since 1994. [SG EATS]DINING WITH THE HALIA SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS

Halia is known as ginger in Malay language. The Halia restaurant provides a modern European cuisine with slight twist of Asian flavours dining experience. I was at their first restaurant located at Singapore Botanic Gardens last week. The restaurant has recently revamped with a new dining experience. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas with more spacious and comfortable seating place for diners to sit back and immerse into the nature beauty in the garden.
