I am back to Street 50 Restaurant and Bar, Bay Hotel recently for their lunch buffet. The latest buffet theme is the Buffet Egg Xperience for the Easter weekend period (25 – 27 March 2016). Street 50 has partnered with N&N Farm (First and ONLY Pasteurized fresh eggs in Singapore) , freshly laid quail eggs from Uncle William’s quail farm and Gardenasia (Nature-based events management arm of the Nyee Phoe Group that co-organizing the Kranji Countryside Farmers Market) to bring an array of egg related menu and activities to complement the Easter theme. 999.99 (Five Nines) is the latest F&B venture that joined the restaurants along Keong Saik Road. The restaurant has started operating since December 2015 and helmed by Chef Masanao Saito that has experience working in restaurants all around the world from Japan, to Sweden and presently in Singapore. 999.99 is the finest form of gold and is considered the gold standard. The team at 999.99 holds themselves to this in serving food in its purest and finest form in quality, service and presentation. [SG EATS] NAUGHTY NURI – THE FAMOUS PORK RIBS FROM BALI TO SINGAPORE

Oh well..It has been a while since I had dinner with my sister. So, we had an impromptu dinner at Naughty Nuri located at Capitol Piazza which is a walking distance from City Hall MRT station. If you notice, the space was previously occupied by Zaku (Japanese Sumiyaki Restaurant) and just next to Dazzling Café. Naughty Nuri has been known with their signature pork ribs for those who been to Bali, Indonesia. I have spotted them at Johor Bahru last year and yet to give it a try. So, here we are approaching the restaurant on Friday night without any reservation. Thankfully, there are seats for two of us. [SG EATS] MELLBEN SIGNATURE AT TANJONG PAGAR HAS RELOCATED

Mellben Signature is known by the locals for their savoury chilli and butter crabs. But do you know that other than Mellben Signature located at Ang Mo Kio, you can find them at Tanjong Pagar? But do take note that they have change to a new location located at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. The previous location, Bestway Building is no longer operating. [SG EATS] EMPRESS @ ASIAN CIVILISATIONS MUSEUM

Just few days before CNY, my foodie friends and I decided to arrange a CNY dinner. We decided on Empress which is located in the iconic Asian Civilisations Museum. It is just a walking distance away from Raffles Place MRT station. Empress is a contemporary Chinese restaurant under the Prive Group with indoor and alfresco dining space. And not forgetting the view from the Empress is the Singapore River. The fusion style restaurant also serves cocktail drinks with a centralized bar in the centre of the restaurant. Fu Lin Men (which symbolises fortune bestowed upon one’s home) Dou Lao located at North Canal Road is founded by orthopaedic specialist and senior researcher, Professor Zhang Min from the costal province of Zhe Jiang. Fu Lin Men Dou Lao Restaurant was started in April 2015 by Professor Zhang and former banker, Simon Lim. I was invited to tasting with fellow foodie bloggers last Sunday for dinner session.
