I re-visited Un-Yang-kar-Dai restaurant recently with a friend for dinner over the weekend. Read about my first visit post here. The restaurant specialises in north-eastern Thai or Isaan cuisine. It is rather interesting as north-eastern Thai cuisine has slight influenced by Khmer cuisine and northern side of Thai cuisine is more suitable for cooler valleys and forested mountains of the Thai highlands. Thus, this explains the differences in the spices, ingredients and cooking method here in Un-Yang-Kor-Dai. Continue reading [SG EATS] Un-Yang-Kor-Dai – Thai Restaurant(Revisit)

Nung Len located at Mackenzie Road is my latest visit to Thai Café recently. Thanks Tony for inviting me over. Since it is approximately 15-20 minutes walk away from my workplace (Bugis), I decided to walk over after work. The name ‘Nung Len’ in Thai is referring to ‘sit and chill’ and is currently operating by a young owner chef, Ms Jen Fu. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and found her interest on Thai Cuisine. Thus, she visited Thailand and learned about the dishes before opening Nung Len September last year. Continue reading [SG EATS] NUNG LEN SG- THAI CUISINES CAFÉ AT MACKENZIE ROAD
