Rice & Fries located within a walking distance from Kembangan MRT station offers a casual dining experience that caters for neighbouring customers. I was there with other foodies friends for a tasting session sometime back. The restaurant does not impose any service charges and all prices are NETT. So it is much pocket-friendly and affordable meal in Rice & Fries.

The chilli soft shell crab served with sweet chilli sauce and mantou.

Corn Tortilla Chips

Truffle Fries & Spam Fries S$9.80 each

One of my favourite that night. The spam fries served with salted egg sauce was addictive and best to enjoy while it is hot. I can finish all by myself.

Poached Salmon S$18.80

It was nicely execute and it is a healthy option for those who prefer something light for dinner.

Salted Egg Prawn Pasta S$19.80

Since the salted egg yolk craze is still going on, here is one to look out for. I personally prefer the salted egg sauce to be stronger but the pasta was al dente though.

Pork Chop (Pork Collar) S$16.80

It is best to enjoy while it is hot as the meat gets tough to cut after a while.

Lamb Shank S$28.80

Their signature dish served with creamy mashed potatoes and mushroom with approximately 8 hours of cooking preparation to ensure the meat is juicy and tender. True enough, the meat fell off the bone easily.

Crab Risotto S$21.80

Rainbow Cheesecake S$7.80 | Lemon Tart S$6.80 | Matcha Lava Cake S$9.80 | Dark Chocolate Lava Cake S$9.80

This beautiful rainbow cheesecake was flavourful. Every colour on the cake has its unique flavour and we tried guessing it. Some flavours include orange, yam, pandan, lemon and vanilla are all in this slice of cake.
The dark chocolate lava cake was everyone favourite that night.
