[SG EATS] .Elia at Jiak Chuan Road
.Elia located at 10 Jiak Chuan Road serves as a bistro by day and restaurant by night. They have taken over Oriole Coffee Roasters and did a change of the interior design. The place offers 30-seaters which is quite a cosy space. I visited the place during night time along with other blogger friends for a tasting session. I think it will definitely look good in photography during the day time with natural lighting and marble counter tops.
.Elia also serves brunch and weekday lunch as well. They also have weekday lunch menu which is available on Monday to Thursday. Lunch set is available as well. So, if you are working nearby, you can check out this place for lunch and they do serves coffee/ tea.
Moving on are the dishes I tried that night:
Panchetta S$15.50
I would say this is my favourite dish of all. The Panchetta tasted flavourful and creamy. I would come back for this!
Jamon Iberico Grilled Cheese
This sandwich topped with a fried egg looks instagram-worthy and yet tasty at the same time.
Grilled Octopus
The grilled octopus served with sautéed kale, caramelised chilli and macadamia nuts. I personally addicted to the sautéed kale.
Wagyu Beef Shortrib
The sous-vide and seared wagyu beef has the tender and juicy flavour.
Chocolate Molten Cake
We had the classic chocolate molten cake to end the meal.
I had a filling meal by end of the day especially after the Panchetta. The place gives a cosy and comfortable feel which best suits for private occasions and dates. I have yet to check out their specialty coffee brew and other dishes on the menu. I might be back again during the day time to capture the natural lighting and enjoy a cup of coffee here.
