Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant is a modern Cantonese restaurant located at Level 4, Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. I made a reservation through Chope beforehand for Sunday brunch. Swissotel Merchant Court Singapore has finally completed their refurbishment of all 476 rooms and suites with coloured themes and added meeting rooms and even new in-house spa brand called Purovel Spa & Sport. Their dining restaurants have also transformed and I had gone to the recent one, Ellenborough Market Café. Pool Grill at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has recently launched “All About White Asparagus” menu for this spring season. So, what is the difference between the white asaparagus and the green asparagus? White asparagus comes from the process of etiolation, which is the deprivation of light. The plant cannot produce chlorophyll without light and thus there is no green colour to the stalks.
