Pratunam Famous Chicken and Pork Leg Rice located in one of the coffeeshop at Geylang Road has caught my attention on my Facebook feed recently. They started their business since mid-June this year. They specialise in local Thai comfort food including the Pork Leg Rice, Chicken Rice and Grilled items.

Chalerm Thai is the latest addition at Arcarde @ The Capitol Kempinski.The restaurant is named after the Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre in Bangkok, first opened in 1933. I re-visited Un-Yang-kar-Dai restaurant recently with a friend for dinner over the weekend. Read about my first visit post here.The restaurant specialises in north-eastern Thai or Isaan cuisine. It is rather interesting as north-eastern Thai cuisine has slight influenced by Khmer cuisine and northern side of Thai cuisine is more suitable for cooler valleys and forested mountains of the Thai highlands. Thanks to Sydney, I have excuses to visit this area because it is quite a distance away from where I stayed. Time for Thai is a casual Thai restaurant that offers wallet-friendly food and drinks.
