Cordis, Hong Kong is a 5-star modern upscale hotel in the heart of Mongkok. The hotel is formerly known as Langham Place Hotel and rebranded in 2015. The property is still under Langham Hospitality Group and you can collect Avios when you stay here. I always wanted to stay here and finally got the chance when Hong Kong finally open for travel. I booked it here at a reasonable rate.

Location
The hotel location is easily accessible via Mongkok MTR station. It is also closer to the airport and located in the heart of Mongkok. What makes it even charming is that it is attached to the Langham Place shopping mall for those who loves shopping. If you prefer local markets, it is also a few minutes’ walk to the Ladies Market. You can get almost everything in this central location.

Hotel Room


Check-in process was smooth. We were greeted with a smile by the staffs and got our key cards to our room. I booked Deluxe Room with a city view on an upper floor for a 3D2N stay in Hong Kong recently. I enjoyed the 29 m²/312 ft² room size with views packed with cityscape. And look at the bed! The bed was comfortable and love the fluffed pillows. It was so comfortable that I went back to hotel twice a day to stay and chill in my room.


The room comes with a glass bathroom which is perfect for couples. There is a bathtub to a separate rain shower. The room’s luxurious is leveled up with its marble walls and a spacious walk-in corner shower with a raindrop shower head. The bathroom amenities are the hotel’s own brand.

Mini bar and complimentary bottled waters are available in the room. The bottled waters are replenished when the housekeeping clean up the room daily. Not forgetting the complimentary WIFI in the room.

Hotel Facilities


Cordis also has a spa, gym and a rooftop pool for health and wellness. The award-winning Chuan Spa is a health club that revolves in Traditional Chinese Medicine. All are located at the same level.
Moving on to their dine-in offers. The hotel offers bespoke artisanal cocktails, delectable food truck fare under the stars, a divine international buffet, and Michelin-starred fine dining Cantonese cuisine (Ming Court). However, I did not get the chance to try all this time around, but I did visit Alibi though. Alibi is a restaurant and bar located at Level 5 for cocktails on one of my night’s stays there. I enjoyed the ambience and the cocktails here.

I enjoyed my stay and there is also express check-out option. All I need to do is to drop my room card on the express check-out box displayed at the hotel lobby. The rooms are well-maintained, and I love the location too. There are many food options and attraction places to visit such as Ladies Market, Goldfish Market, Sneaker Street and many more. All these places are within walking distance from the hotel.
