One Farrer Hotel, located within walking distance of Farrer Park MRT Station, is formerly known as One Farrer Hotel and Spa. The hotel is integrated with Farrer Park Hospital and Farrer Park Medical Centre. One Farrer Hotel encompasses three ‘hotels within a hotel’, the Mint Hotel, Loft Apartments, Saranggong Villas and Skyline Studios & Sky Villas. The hotel has 252 chic contemporary rooms, studios, apartments, suites, and villas.

Check-In & Check-Out Process
We had a smooth check-in process at the hotel lobby. We were presented a letter detailing the entitlements during our stay as well as Skyline lounge access along with our hotel card upon the clearance.
As for check-out, hotel guests can just handover the hotel cards to the hotel reception counter and get your car park coupon at Concierge.



The Room


We had the Skyline Studio Room for our 2D1N stay with One Farrer Hotel. Our room is located on the 19th floor, and it offers captivating views of the urban skyline.

The room size is 50 m²/538 ft² that comes with king size bed, an armchair, marble table fixture, and an overhead lamp. The work desk at the corner of the room comes with Herman Miller Chair. We also enjoyed the 55/56-inch smart television including HD cable channels and in-room media hub with international plug system and USB charging ports.


Also, hotel guests can indulge in bathtub in the luxurious marble-walled bathroom. The bathroom covers the overhead rain shower and handheld shower. The amenities are fully equipped as well. The toilet has a “Please Wait” button which you do not normally see in other hotels. I presume that it allows you to hit the button if someone is at the door.

We also like the in-room total environment system, which we thought was cool. The whole room lighting is using motion sensor. Love it!

Complimentary WIFI is provided to hotel guests too.

Skyline Lounge

The Skyline lounge located at Level 18 is small but cozy as compared to other hotels. However, the personalized service made up for it. Exclusive access to the Skyline Lounge is available from 7:00am to 10:00pm daily. There is a complete breakfast option from 7:00am to 10:30am. We had our breakfast there. Hotel guests can also enjoy all daylight refreshments and snacks.
Evening cocktails with a light dinner starts from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. We thought of having light bites here before heading for dinner. But ended up feeling full after the light dinner was served around 6pm. Lovely!

Hotel Facilities

One Farrer Hotel has two swimming pools. The main pool is located on Level 6 and another pool exclusively for guests with Skyline benefits on Level 18.
But the pool at the higher-level size is much smaller.


Same goes for the Gym. There are two gyms for hotel guests. The well-equipped main gym is on Level 6 while the Skyline gym, with a much smaller scale, is located on Level 19. The good thing is that the gym is open 24hours daily.

Dining Options
One Farrer Hotel offers three dining options- Escape Restaurant, Nest at One Farrer, and One Farrer Confectionery. Escape Restaurant is located at Level 6, poolside and offers al-fresco dining. The menu showcases local fusion dishes like Lobster Laksa, Wok-Fried “Hor Fun” with Pan-seared Ribeye Steak and more.

For Nest at One Farrer, it is a bespoke private dining experience inside their private studios and villas that are located on Level 20, the top floor of the hotel. A total of 3 different experiences- Havens, Sky Villas and Saranggong.
Havens
Guests can enjoy all-new executive set menus that are jointly curated by Executive Chef Marcus Tan and Pastry Chef Wee Pai Hau, in the comfort of private rooms.
Available in 4-courses and 5-courses for set lunch and dinner.
Sky Villas
For group gatherings, check out their more luxurious settings. There are five villas- Orchid, Lotus, Jasmine, Peony, and the prestigious Presidential Villa. Featuring outdoor patios and living areas with modern connectivity, which is perfect for social events and engagements. Guests can have the option to stayover as the villa is attached with bedrooms.
Saranggong
Saranggong Villas are located on Level 6 featuring modern and luxurious deco. It is a new luxurious villa ideal for hosting private events.
We had a chance to dine in Havens for our lunch after checking out. We need to get assistance from Concierge to bring us to Level 20. Once we arrived at Level 20, we were greeted with Liza who led us to the dining room. The lunch was great with good company and good food. I will share more on my next post.

One Farrer Confectionery is located at Level 1 hotel lobby where you can savour handmade cakes like their signature Absolute Ivory, Coco Pan, and other pastries by Pastry Chef Wee Pai Hau. Available for takeaways from 10:00am to 6:00PM daily.

It was a good weekend retreat staying over at One Farrer Hotel. We were lucky to be able to watch NDP rehearsal fireworks from our room. A good night rest and get cosy with our bed. The service is commendable, especially the service crews like Jodi and Malek from the Skyline lounge. They took the time to chat and ensure everything was in order not for myself but also for other hotel guests.

The hotel’s location is easily accessible via MRT and there is a shopping mall nearby. There are many food choices around the hotel and even 24hours supper place. If you are looking for a hotel stay that is in proximity to MRT and food places, One Farrer Hotel is an option to consider.
