[PRODUCT REVIEW] 3-Days Juice Cleansing With Antidote
I am going to share my 3-days juice cleansing with Antidote that I just did a week ago. It was my first time trying it and I must say it is pretty tough for me. Nevertheless, I managed to pull it through and I am going to blog about it.
So, Antidote has sponsored me 3-days of energy cleanse which is known as the basic / beginner for those first-timer like me. The basic cleanse is crafted to introduce a full spectrum of rainbows into your diet palette. It focuses primarily on detoxification of the liver and feeding your cells the nutrients they need.
Apart from the Basic juice packs, Antidote also offers Intermediate (Skinny Cleanse & Body Balance Cleanse) and Advanced (Vitality Cleanse). Each juice packs are carefully crafted according to its functions, nutrients and also diet palette.
The juices can order through online and they are delivered to your doorstep. Antidote prepared 6 types of juices for me to consume daily for the next 3 days.
So, before I start my juice cleansing, I did a bit read up on the FAQ and also other reviews through online to prep me for the experience. I also set alarm to remind myself to drink it every 2-3 hours to ensure that I finish all the six bottles within the day.
Day 1
Date: 01 November 2017
I started on the first day of the month and avoid tastings for the next few days. To be honest, I felt very sleepy in the morning and almost dozed off at work. So, I did cheat a bit. I had one protein super grain bar so that I can do a bit chewing exercise to stay awake. The whole process made me feel less energetic and my colleagues are tempting me with their awesome lunch. But the tiredness soon wears off in the afternoon. I was feeling much better and by night time I tried to finish up the 6th bottle and went to bed by 11pm. I usually sleep after 12am but the juice cleansing made me very tired. No shitting or farting on day 1 but I keep peeing though.
Day 2
Date: 02 November 2017
I woke up slightly earlier on day 2 and continue with my juice cleansing. I felt pretty good and not feeling hungry. And surprisingly I don’t feel sleepy or tiredness on day 2. However, I started to fart and shit after my 4th bottle of the day. My fart is getting bad to worse at night. The smell was terrible at night. My sisters are complaining the smell.. haha! Sorry too much details though.
Day 3
Date: 03 November 2017
Finally last day of cleansing and it was a Friday. Everything is as usual and I was starting to get used to have juice for the whole day. During my last day of juice cleansing, I keep shitting. I shit more than 3 times. I don’t feel hungry too. I guess my body already adjusted accordingly for the past few days.
Review:
It was quite a rollercoaster journey. My stomach upsets me the last day and I keep going toilet to shit at night. But it was not stomach ache though. It is like flushing out the toxins from my body system. After going through the 3 days of juice cleansing, I am happy to eat solid food again! I I do notice that my appetite become smaller and I lose 1kg! I think I should give myself a pat on the shoulder for doing a good job skipping all the temptations.
Facts:
Cleansing is not a solution for long-term weight loss. You still need to exercise and have a balance lifestyle to achieve that. And when you stop juice cleansing, your body starts retaining calories from solid food again. So, never ever think that cleansing is good for weight loss.
