Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena is located within a walking distance from Novena MRT Station. The hotel is also located next to shopping malls including Square 2, Novena Square and Velocity. It is considered one of the newest hotels in Singapore that opened in late 2017. The hotel mainly caters to business travellers and also leisure guests or overseas guests that are here for medical review. The reason being is that it is also a walking distance away from Singapore’s best hospitals.Booking can be made via their official website or Agoda and other hotel booking websites. I will usually do comparison on the pricing before making any hotel bookings.

Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena offers five main room categories. I stayed at Deluxe Greenery Guest Room which is located at the high floor level with fully furnished amenities. And I was rewarded with the skyline view of the neighbourhood. The difference between this room and Premier Room is that Deluxe Room does not come with Nespresso Machine.

The hotel room comes with an open-concept bathroom but it is still able to close it with the sliding doors. However, there is no lock on the bathroom doors so there is lack of privacy though.

I have visited the hotel before for a tasting session at Sky22 so I did not include the hotel breakfast during the stay. Sky22 is an all-day dining restaurant that offers healthy choices of meals to cater to hotel guests’ needs. You can read more here.


Since there are plenty of food choices around the hotel, we decided to opt out the hotel breakfast.

The hotel also offer facilities to hotel guests to enhance the stay with them. Take a lift up to the rooftop infinity pool for a swim or enjoy a drink at the rooftop bar which is located at the same level.

Note: Hotel guest is requested to provide deposit upon check-ins although hotel room payment is completed. This is the hotel rules here.

We had a relaxing stay over the weekend. The bed was comfy and we slept til late morning and wish the clock stops ticking. It is good to do a staycation once in a while to rejuvenate before resuming to daily routine.
