I finally visit Tokyo Disneyland during my recent trip to Tokyo, Japan. My last visit was to Hong Kong Disneyland few years ago. I was told that Tokyo Disneyland is the classic of all. I was contemplating whether to go for Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disneysea initially. I ended up choosing Tokyo Disneyland for this trip.


How to Get To Tokyo Disneyland from Tokyo?
Take train from Shinjuku Station to Tokyo Station on JR Line (Chuo) and find Tokyo Station on JR Line (Keiyo). Take the train towards Soga on JR Line (Keiyo) and arrive at Maihama Station. The journey distance will take approximately an hour from Shinjuku Station.

Where to Purchase Tokyo Disneyland Tickets?

Apart from purchasing Tokyo Disneyland tickets on the spot, you can also pre-purchase discounted tickets from KKDAY. The ticket collection is at the exit of Maihama Station, which is convenient and hassle-free!

Do You Need a FASTPASS?
I reached Disneyland around 1pm and the FASTPASS was not available anymore. So, if you intend to take as many rides as possible, FASTPASS is definitely needed. You can check their official website about FASTPASS https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/tdr/guide.html .
With FASTPASS, you will get a time window to ride or enter the attraction at a certain time. And usually once the time slots have been assigned, the FASTPASS ticketing service will end. One Disneyland Admission Ticket is equivalent to One FASTPASS Ticket.

Since I reached there in the afternoon, I didn’t get the FASTPASS at all. Nevertheless, I still managed to get 5 rides on that day. The queue was approximately 20-30 minutes for each ride, which I think it is still manageable. So lucky for me indeed!

My Tokyo Disneyland Experience





Tokyo Disneyland official website is constantly updated with the time schedule for the parades and shows. This enable travellers like us to plan our day in Disneyland. Attractions include Western River Railroad, Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise- Wildlife Expeditions,Swiss Family Treehouse, The Enchanted Tiki Room, Alice’s Tea Party and many more.




So, do plan your itinerary well if you want to fully utilize the day trip to Disneyland. Fun rides including Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain not to miss! And of course stay till the end to watch the fireworks performance to end the night!
