Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark
Deasaru Coast Adventure Waterpark is designed for family-friendly. The water theme park offers unique rides and first-ever water coaster in the region. It consists of 5 splash-tacular zones, more than 20 wet and dry rides or slides for everyone.

Highlights include the classic Swinging Ship at Zone 1- Penawar Falls.


Then, Surf Wall where surfing beginner can ride the radical simulated waves. We skipped this because we only have half day here. I would advise you to spend whole day here to experience all the rides or slides.

Or float along the lazy Penawar River at Zone 2-Penawar River.




Next, get ready for the high-speed intensity water ride Kraken’s Revenge. It is said to be Southeast Asia’s first-of-its-kind combo coaster and flume ride with a 360-degree horizontal loop and a 27-meter drop. Superb exciting and we took 2 rides!It has been a while since I last took a thrilling rides.

Followed by The Tempest, captured in two high-energy funnels and a sudden 7m-drop with high swings and zero-gravity moments. It is totally dramatic swirling before being splash down after the thrill. There is a nickname for it and when you literary translate to English means ‘washing the huge toilet bowl’.


Adults and kids can also check out the Tidal Wave Beach. One of the biggest wave pools in the world with giant and small waves which is fun for everyone.


Lastly, there are a selection of 13 water slides and fun water play equipment for children. For instance, they have the Scallywags, Starfish Splash and Lil’ Warriors’ Hideout. There is always something for everyone here at the theme park.


For those who are doing a day trip here, no worries. There is a locker section for you to store your stuffs and shower room too. The locker rate is priced at RM20-RM40 ~S$6.67 –S$13.33 .Also, please bring along extra set of dry clothes to change!

In summary, this water-theme park is suitable for group of friends or family-oriented outing. I would suggest staying at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast because they have direct access to the park. There are also other hotels in Desaru like Sand & Sandals Resort & Spa and etc to choose from. However, it is located 5-minutes dry away from the park.
