If you have been following my Instagram, you will notice a change of my hair colour by now. I was invited by 99 Percent Hair Studio located at 40 Haji Lane to try out their hair services few days before my Hong Kong trip. I was so excited to change my hair colour before I am off for travelling.

99 Percent Hair Studio offers hair and spa manicure services which is a one-stop solution for customers especially the ladies. You can do your manicure services while waiting for your hair fix. One stone kills two birds! Apart from this, they also had known in their professional skills in creating a fanciful hair style that suit individual style. If you are adventurous type, you can check them out.

I headed to the salon right after my work around 6.30pm and was greeted by the hair stylists. It was a busy evening and everyone is busy attending to the customers. I was seated at the waiting area and served with a drink and a packet of biscuit while waiting for Kent (my hair stylist) to be ready.And did i mentioned that they also provide complimentary wifi?

We had a chat and Kent checked on my hair conditions before proposing the dye colours that suit my style. My current hair has been bleached few months back and it is not ideal for bleaching again. Thus, he suggested to have dark ashe cendre blonde on the top and honey brownish colour on the bottom of my hair.



So, transformation started with mixing the dye colours before applying it on to my hair. The brand they used for dying is Wella if you are wondering. The whole process took me approximately 2 hours to get my hair colour transformed to dark ashe colours. No longer the bright orangish colour hair which my sisters commented I look like ‘lion king’. They commented my latest colour looks balance and suits my daily routine look when I reached home.

Here is the before and after photo of my hair. My roots are growing and it is very obvious after 2 months so this is the best time to get my hair fix it.


I also took my #ootd shots during my trip to Hong Kong over the weekend. My hair colour is still good in condition. The colours are getting more obvious under the sunlight.
