[TAIWAN HOTEL REVIEW] Hotel Stay at Orange Hotel Quanqian Taipei | Taiwan
During my trip to Taipei, Taiwan, I stayed in 2-star Orange Hotel Quanqian for 3 days 2 night. The hotel is 2 streets away from Taipei Main Station. Orange Hotel is under Forte Hotel Group that has other hotels in different part of Taipei and Yilan. I stayed at their Forte Dong Shan Villa Yilan 3 years ago. So, basically it is my second stay with Forte Hotel Group.
So, let’s move on to my hotel stay experience throughout the 3 Days 2 Night here.
The Room
I stayed in Standard Twin Room with standard basic toiletries. The room comes with complimentary FREE Wifi , television and telephone. There is also complimentary bottled water for hotel guests.
The frosted glass toilet and bathroom are separated is located in between the washing basin.
Since I am staying alone, I find it comfortable throughout the stay. The room is ideal not more than 2 pax. This is because the room space is limited and the moment you spread out the luggages, you will have difficulties walking around.
Overall, it is comfortable and clean room to stay especially when the lights are dimmed. I dozed off so quickly after out exploring the city by end of the day.
Breakfast Options
Since Orange Hotel Quanqian Taipei has limited facilities, their breakfast is not served in the hotel. Their breakfast is in partnership with other cafeteria/ restaurants nearby. Hotel guests are provided breakfast voucher upon check-in. The hotel receptionist will share the available breakfast choice to redeem the voucher. Each voucher is entitled to 1 breakfast set per pax from respective breakfasts place.
I tried the Yoshinoya breakfast set for the first day and Café Bene for the following day. Both cafes are within a walking distance from Orange Hotel.
Location
The best part of this hotel is the location. It is a prime location where hotel guests like me get to explore the attraction places within minutes. There are trains and buses options to reach to the destinations. It is a central location and the best part is that I do not need to change train to reach Taoyuan International Airport from Taipei Main Station. This shortens my travelling period and I get to cover more places as well.
However, please take note that during the walking distance from the train station to hotel, you will need to walk up the staircases. So, you will need to carry your luggage all the way up. I am not sure if there is available escalator near the exit though.
Security
Security is always our main concern especially when we travel. The security in Orange Hotel is definitely rest assured. The main entrance is always locked and can only be unlocked with hotel cards or pressed the bell for assistance. Thus, not everyone is able to access into the hotel freely. For your information, the hotel lobby is located at level 3 and all I need to do is to register check-in and off to level 5 to my room. I only back to level 3 upon checking out.
