During my Taiwan holiday, I stayed 2 different hotels and one of it is Aloft Hotel Taipei Zhongshan. Aloft Taipei Zhongshan is one of the luxury hotels under Starwood Hotels & Resorts that delivers a fresh, fun and fulfilling reinvention of the travel experience. True enough that each Aloft Hotels has different theme and concept. Aloft Taipei Zhongshan showcases the vibrant and arty-farty lifestyle concept. Hotel guests can instantly feel the moment you enter into the hotel lobby.

Location
Aloft is easily accessible via public transport and a short distance from MRT Zhongshan Elementary School Station (中山國小站). The hotel is also ten minutes drive from Taipei Songshan Airport. Apart from that, there is a bus stop opposite the hotel to move around Taipei city as well.

Hotel Room

Aloft Taipei Zhongshan has 88 rooms features and I stayed in Splash Room. The room has 2 comfortable queen beds with separate shower and bathtub. The room has two basins in bathroom and necessary room amenities. What I enjoyed the most is the cosy bed and I wish I can sleep in whole day long. And each guestroom showcases unique artwork pieces created by talented designers. This is also one of Aloft’s branding design too.

Facilities

Breakfast is served at WXYZ bar with local delights and the place will transform into a hipster bar in the evening. There are live bands singing live on certain days too. We had our comfy breakfast in the morning and trying out their cocktails and tapas in the evening.

Apart from this, if you are a SPG member, Aloft also have SPG Keyless feature which enable hotel guest member to check in and access guest room with own mobile phone. We were quite amazed with this. So, I quickly sign up as SPG member so that I can enjoy such features on my future stay.

Why Aloft Taipei Zhongshan
Overall, the hotel is suitable for travellers who are seeking for comfortable and cosy place to rest after a whole day of activities or meetings. It has the classy, vibrant and modern style that caters for young travellers too. I had a good stay with Aloft Taipei Zhongshan and there are convenient store and night markets within a walking distance. I can always go out and hunt for food if I am hungry middle of the night.
