Desaru is a beach and resort area in Kota Tinggi District, Johor, Malaysia. The beach resort is located at the south eastern tip of Johor State facing the majestic South China Sea. Ever since the currency rate is 1: 3 , there is a drastic increase of human traffic daily from Singapore checkpoint to Malaysia checkpoint. Many took the option via public transport CW1, SBS 170 / 160 , 950 etc to cross the causeway.
