Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore located in the heart of the renowned Laguna National Golf & Country Club. Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies has expanded the business in Singapore.The luxury hotel is ideal for an escapade gateaway from the bustling city life. It is like travelling out of Singapore and going to Bali or Phuket adventure.

HOW TO GET HERE?

The hotel is 10 minutes car drive from Singapore Changi Airport and 15 minutes from downtown.
It is not conveniently accessible via public transport. Thus, it is ideal that you have your own transport or call for GRAB/ GOJEK.
Or
Take the free shuttle service from Jewel Changi Airport, or from the Expo MRT Station. There is a schedule to follow.

THE HOTEL

The hotel comprises 198 tastefully decorated rooms and suites, eight pavilions, indoor and outdoor meeting, and event spaces, as well as a variety of gastronomic options. Other facilities include three swimming pools, three tennis courts, a putting green, gym and a Thai-inspired spa.

THE CHECK-IN/ OUTS PROCESS
We booked 2D1N stay during Singapore National Day via klook . There was a promotion going on and we managed to get it at S$351 nett and eligible to use SRV voucher to offset. So, we only paid $251nett for the stay that includes breakfast for 2 pax and complimentary welcome drink.

Once the booking is made, there is an email confirmation. When the date is nearer, the staff from the hotel will email to encourage you to self-check ins first via their DUSIT THAI app so that you can skip the queue to check-ins upon arrival. I tried but failed so I need to check-ins as per usual upon arrival and get my app started.

NOTE: Although the booking has been paid, you will still be required to pay $150 deposit upon check-ins. They will return the amount once you check-out.


You can opt for no room keys and access the room via the app installed in your phone. However, the staff did prepare a set for us in case we need it. To be honest, I find it very convenient to access the lift, the room, swimming pool areas with a tap away from my phone.

THE ROOM

We stayed at Deluxe Laguana Pool View Room.The room is inviting with pool-view and the view of the golf course. We also get the perks of close-up views of planes touching down several times in a day. No worry about the noise pollution because you will only experience the low hum of the engines as the planes fly by.




Welcome amenities and the standard room facilities are available. Also, expect to enjoy the complimentary in-room minibar (except alcoholic beverages) and free flow of sparkling water till end of this year. The staff shared that it is complimentary in conjunction of their new opening.

Also, A Dusit Care Kit can also be found in the room for all guests to use too!




Facilities

The swimming pool is also the highlight of the stay. It is one of the Instagram-worthy pools with colourful flowers and perfect sunlight for photos. There are 3 pools available – Lap Pool, Relaxation Pool and Kid’s Pool.

There is also a gym room filled with cardio and weight resistance equipment for workout session too. Hotel guests need to pre-book on the timing slot to be able to access to the facilities.

Dining



The hotel offers indoor and outdoor dining experiences. Hotel guests can explore Greenhouse all-day dining and Tee Deck alfresco pool bar and grill. Our hotel stay inclusive of complimentary breakfast for 2 pax at Greenhouse. It was one of the scrumptious breakfast spread that I ever had for staycation.

Review
We had a good stay here and the hospitality given was quite an experience. It was a good birthday retreat where I do feel that I am on a holiday in overseas. If you are planning for weekend escapade in Singapore, you can consider here. It is good for family stay as well. They do have activities for kids as well.
