MOVIE REVIEW: AT CAFE 6《六弄咖啡館》+ GALA PREMIERE
I was invited to attend the movie; At Café 6 , Gala Premiere on Sunday. When I receive the invitation, my first thought was that it has the similar storyline concept as You are the Apple of My Eye (那些年，我們一起追的女孩) and Cafe waiting love 等一個人咖啡 movies. If you watch any of these before, you will get what I mean.
So, before the movie commences, we have the local DJ, Xie Jia Fa hosting a brief introduction followed by a speech from the director and producer. Cherry Ngan (Main cast of the show) also appeared on the spot.

Synopsis:
Miss Liang’s car broke down after work in a rainy night. The coffee shop owner helps her and invites her to his shop named Café 6. When he knows Miss Liang has a fight with her boyfriend that is overseas, he shares the story that happened in the summer of 1996…
At that time, Guan Min-lü and his good friend Xiao Bo-zhi always hang out together. Min-lü is secretly in love with Li Xin-rui. And Bo-zhi likes Xin-rui’s best friend, Cai Xin-yi. They share the shining young days together. However, they need to face reality; can they maintain their friendship after their high school graduation?
Review:
I would say while watching the movie, it has triggered some old memories of mine during my schooling time. It also gave me reminder that time wait for no man. We need to constantly remind ourselves to cherish our loved ones while they are still with us. So, the story focused on the couple ; -關閔綠 Guan Min-lü and 李心蕊 Li Xin-rui and their long distance relationship after graduation. Along the storyline, it reflects how man and woman mentality grows in different stage of life. No wonder there is a saying that woman tends to mature earlier than guys. It also gave us some thoughts on how relationship needs to manage and maintain in order for both to grow old together. Be it love or friendship, the story shared with us how valuable and fragile relationships can be. As for the finale of the movie, I was quite taken back with the unexpected twist. I shall not reveal the ending part though. So, catch the movie to find out the ending and how you rate the storyline.
