Movie Synopsis
Looking to mine for gold, greedy industrialist Bartholomew Bogue seizes control of the Old West town of Rose Creek. With their lives in jeopardy, Emma Cullen and other desperate residents turn to bounty hunter Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington) for help. Chisolm recruits an eclectic group of gunslingers to take on Bogue and his ruthless henchmen. With a deadly showdown on the horizon, the seven mercenaries soon find themselves fighting for more than just money once the bullets start to fly.
Review:
The movie has quite a number of thrilling action scenes where I got excited with. The gunfight showdown and duels were pretty exciting that you will get hooked throughout the session. However, I do find the initial part of the storyline a bit draggy and there wasn’t sense of excitement going on until the showdown scene was in. The total of seven outlaws from different backgrounds, religious and races gather together to upright the Justice for a small town. The cowboys in actions with their professional skill in guns and daggers were pretty impressive.
And the farmers’ community work hand-in –hands to repel the bad guys’ scene were quite amusing at split seconds. The peak of the plot was the showdown between the bad guys where many people got killed and injured. It’s all about holding on to the principles, fight for the freedom and protect the weak. Ultimately, it was a successful fight but not all survived towards the end.
