[JB EVENT 2017 ] LEGOLAND Malaysia Celebrates Star Wars Days 40th Anniversary
LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort announced its plans for the largest Star Wars™ 40th Anniversary celebration in the region. As eager fans around the world anticipate the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars™: A New Hope, LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort is pulling out all the stops to make the annual LEGO® Star Wars™ Days a memorable one in conjunction with the resort’s 5th anniversary.
Set to be the biggest Star Wars™ May the 4th celebration in the region, the LEGO® Star Wars™ Days 2017 will run over the course of 34 days and across five weekends (28 April – 31 May) with a variety of exciting and entertaining daily activities for the whole family.
Here are some reasons why you should mark your calendar for the event:
1. Join the Largest Imperial March in the Region (13 & 14 May ONLY)

Over 100Star Wars™ characters marching down the streets of LEGOLAND® Malaysia is definitely a sight to see. But what if you could be a part of it? The Imperial March will be led by the most devout fans of theStar Wars™ universe – 501st Legion and Rebel Legion – setting up an intense clash of the dark and light side. What is truly remarkable is that guests have a once in a lifetime chance to make a true memory by participating in the huge march as well!
2. Immerse Yourself in the Epic Battles through LEGO®Star WarsTM Miniland ‘Live’
The largest LEGO®Star Wars™ MINILAND Model Display is the only one-of-its-kind in Asia, where models are built with over 1.5 million LEGO® bricks. The exhibit is made up of seven rooms, depicting scenes from eachStar Wars™ movie, in chronological order. In LEGO® Star Wars™ Live, guests can look forward to the most avid storytelling experience at LEGO®Star Wars™ Miniland with the Model Citizens who are specially dressed in Star Wars™ costumes.
3. Honour the Toughest Rebel in the Galaxy Far, Far Away
LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort will be hosting a commemorative session to honour the People’s Princess – the toughest galactic rebel ever..
4. Spot the Stormtrooper
Keep a lookout for the Stormtrooper minifigure on the crew’s badge. Find him and you can redeem a prize on the spot.
5. Star Wars Trivia Hunt
Guests and fans can participate in the hunt by solving the quiz. Visit the Miniland and lookout for clues on the posters and descriptions.
6. Photo Opportunities with the Star Wars Characters
And of course spot Lego Darth Vader and get a photo taken with him. Also, be on the lookout for the Stormtroopers and Jedis. In addition, the meet and greet with the awesome Star Wars characters including Jedi, Stormtroopers and Princess Leia that started on the 1st May, will continue the subsequent weekends (20th & 21st May and 27th & 28th May) where guests can also have their photo taken. They will make appearances at the following timings:
