[TAIWAN EATS] Yellow Lemon (黃檸檬 ) Dessert Bar in Taipei
During my trip to Taipei, I had the opportunity to visit Yellow Lemon Dessert Bar at ZhongShan District. The dessert bar is located along the neighbourhood street in Dazhi and the nearest train station is Dazhi station. Yellow Lemon offers an extensive dessert menu that includes salads and sandwiches as well.
Let’s see what my friends and I tried during our visit:
Frozen Fruits TWD350 ( ~S$15.75+)
It’s a combination of gelato and sorbet made into playful fruit shapes. Refreshing and appealing especially the presentation.
Flower TWD350 ( ~S$15.75+)
I am so in love with this. We went ‘Wow!’ when it was served. It is actually the combination of lychee yogurt mousse, rose water jelly, rose caramel and strawberry foam
Since its summer season, Chef Andrea has launched this creative indoor picnic-style dessert ( Pic- Nic) set TWD 600 per person ( ~S$27.00+ ) . We were all excited when Chef Andrea work on magic on the green grass mat right in front of us.

It is definitely instagram-worthy and like a mini garden but the difference is that this is edible. Once everything is laid down on the green grass mat, Chef Andrea poured the liquid nitrogen over to make the whole Picnic looks magical. The whole presentation is amazing!

Here are some close up on the sweet and savoury components. We were told that the components will change seasonally depending on season.
The Black pepper macaron with king crab, lemon mustard and ikura was our favourite. It was so good that we requested for additional serving.
The imitation caviar, which is actually balls of chocolates and minty jelly with caramel on top. It is indeed interesting and full of surprises.Savoury sandwiches are included in the picnic too.
Yellow Lemon has an open-kitchen concept where we can see chefs in action. The space is bright and spacious perfect lighting for photography. Customers can also grab and go the cakes and desserts at the bakery section as well. I would recommend to paid this place a visit for surprising sweet treats during your trip to Taipei.
