Weekend staycation at Conrad Centennial Singapore was a good escape after a whole week of work. The hotel is located right next to the Millenia Walk shopping mall. The location is accessible via Promenade MRT Station.

Check-In & Check-Out
Smooth check-in process for us. The usual check-in procedures and health declaration is required. We were presented a letter detailing the entitlements for executive floor guests along with our hotel card upon the clearance.
As for check-out, hotel guests can opt to check out at the reception counter or Express Check-out.

The Room

All rooms are sealed with a sticker after cleaning to reassure guests that no one has entered after the housekeeping and creates the psychological illusion of newness as part of Hilton’s CleanStay Initiative.


We stayed at Executive King Room during our weekend escapade. In Conrad Singapore, different room type will have different view and all the rooms are relatively large.

Spot the long daybed in our room which is great to lounge on it overlooking the Marina Bay skyline.
All Conrad guests are given the iconic Conrad Bear as a souvenir.

There is also a hygiene kit consisting of wet wipes, hand santizer and two masks in the room.


The hotel room also has a minibar area that consists of Nespresso machine, kettle, ice bucket and mineral waters. Teabags and Nespresso capsules were placed in the drawer below.


As for the bathroom, the room comes with a large bathtub. So, remember to bring your bath bomb to enjoy the facilities.
Indulge in Shanghai Tang’s bath amenities when you stay with them. Other basic bathroom amenities include hairdryer, towels, tooth kit and cotton buds are provided.
The Wi-Fi here are free for all guests. No password is required, and the speed is stable and fast. It is good enough for Netflix no lagging experience.

Executive Lounge

Executive Lounge located at 31st floor access is available to hotel guests who booked Executive Rooms or Suites and applicable to Hilton Diamond members.
Prior bookings are required to reserve slots for both Afternoon Tea and Evening Cocktail session. Each session was limited to an hour only and there are only two slots available for both. Thus, do make sure you take note on the timing.
What makes it more enjoyable is that alcoholic drinks are FREE Flow. Mocktails option is available too.
Note: The menu differs depending on whether its an odd or even day.




Hotel Facilities


The swimming pool located on the 4th floor has an inviting view with the surrounding high buildings and Singapore Flyer.The pool has a limitation on the number of guests can use at one time. Each guest is limited to 60 minutes per day. Reservations need to be made before hand as well.

As for the gym, it is located next to the pool and limitation guests can use it at any one time. Same thing applies here. Each guest is limited to 60 minutes per day too.

Breakfast


Breakfast at Oscar’s from 7am onwards is the only breakfast venue for both regular and executive floor guests. Back to the good old days where we able to pick and choose from the buffet spread station. We enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast spread with a mix of Asian and Western delights.

The hotel also offers Weekend Brunch Buffet at Oscar’s and if you prefer Chinese cuisine, try Golden Peony Restaurant.

Review

Overall, our weekend stay at Conrad Centennial Singapore was enjoyable. The stunning view from the hotel room to the food at Oscar’s. It was a pleasant experience. The service staff here made our stay wonderful. We do miss the chance to enjoy the swimming pool and gym facilities this time round, but we will plan another staycation soon. The executive lounge access a plus point as we did not have to leave the hotel premise at all.
The hotel location is also proximity to the shopping malls, restaurants and major attractions like Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay. It is easily accessible via public transport.
