Just Want Coffee which is commonly naming JWC is well-known in café scenes in Johor Bahru (JB). Perhaps 8 out of 10 people have been to at least one of their concept cafes. You wouldn’t be surprised as their name is well-established in Singapore and Johor Bahru. If you ask hipsters cafes in JB, JWC café will definitely be in the list. But how many JWC cafes are there in JB? Make a guess!




So, I have list down the JWC concept cafes that I have been so far in Johor Bahru and also previous cafes under JWC. For JWC fans, you can check out them if you have not been to one of them. The cafes are located at different areas in Johor Bahru and best to have own transport to get there.

1. Just Want Coffee, The Factory 30
 The Factory 30 is located at ‘ulu’ or we called it remote place in the industrial area of Mount Austin. The refurbished factory concept café is surrounded by industrial warehouses which can only be accessible via car. This is a huge café with a nice V-shape bar counter at the first level and spacious seating area at the upper deck.
 The uniqueness of this café is their design concept and comfortable seating place where friends and family can sit back and relax a cup of coffee. They do serve brunch menu and desserts as well.

2. Just Want Coffee, Homies, Taman Molek
JWC Homies located at Taman Molek caters to more neighbourhood residents to chill and relax. Thus, this explains the name Homies I guess. The café has a bright interior with natural lighting that shines into the café. There is also outdoor seating and best for ootd shots as well.

This café is known with its cotton candy affogato.

3. The Bear & Fish By Just Want Coffee (Taman Sutera)
 The Bear & Fish by JWC has recently opened its business at Taman Sutera. They also serve brunch, waffles and desserts. Also, they are savoury dishes available at this branch. I was too full the other day to try their savoury items but here are the drinks that I tried that day.
 ( 跳舞小熊) Dancing Bear which I think is the same drink that I tried at EH HE café Ink Brew Gallery earlier this year.

4. Just Want Coffee, Homies
Just Want Coffee, Homies located inside AEON Jusco shopping mall has the same concept as the outlet in Taman Molek. The cafe has an ideal location as shoppers can chill and having a tea break after a day of shopping in the mall.

5. EH HE Gallery | Ink Brew Café
 Eh He Gallery cum café which is located next to Hiap Joo Bakery. The interior design of the café is made with wooden flooring, wooden tables and chair and art mural on the wall. There is an exhibition area that is displayed at the second level that links to the café. If you love rustic feel place, this would be a good place for you to chill.
However, the place has been taken over to new management offering traditional breakfast and no longer the fancy drinks.

6. Headmost Café by Just Want Coffee (CLOSED)
 Headmost café is located along the shop houses of Jalan Kuning. This café has two levels where the upper level is the boutique store for casual men’s clothing. I have been to the café for more than twice with different group of people and enjoyed the spacious and comfortable seating. They are known with their shibuya toast among the rest of JWC cafes.
 However, the café is no longer under JWC group as of current update. But you still can get your shibuya toast craving here as well.
