1. ACT BLUR TO CUT QUEUE
Some people just like to act blur and cut queue while everyone has been trying to queue patiently for the bus to come. Usually the moment we scanned our passport from both Singapore or Johor Bahru immigrations, we will lead to the bus interchange to take our bus. This is where the queue formed. Queues can be extremely long especially on Friday nights and weekend morning with Malaysian knocking off from work and people who wants to travel out of Singapore. Then, there is this type of people act blur not knowing where is the queue by looking around and pretending to slowly blend into the queue.

2. QUEUE TWO SIDES
Some travel with friends or partners. So, when there saw queues are forming at every part of the interchange, they will decide to split and queue at different bus – BUS 170 or Causewaylink and observe which goes faster. This is the benefit of not traveling alone.

3. LAST MINUTE COINS DIGGER / CARD FINDERS
Do you always encounter where the person in front of you doesn’t prepare their coins or cards ready before boarding the bus? This happens to me always and I hate it when I have the chance to get seated but because the person in front of me so last minute and board without prepared, I was forced to stand and squeeze like a sandwich.

4. SLOW MOTION
This is also similar like the last minute type of people. They just take their own sweet time to walk and look around. So, some people just take the opportunity to cut queue while moving forward. Another situation is that they board the bus so slow that all the seats are taken up and you are unable to secure a seat and need to stand all the way to the next immigration.

5. MOBILE ZOMBIES
Nowadays mobile is everything and everyone has mobile or ipad on hand. So, while queueing, naturally they will look at the tech devices to spend time waiting. But what makes it most irritating is that they too obsessed with it and block people or not realizing the queue is moving. Are you one of them like this too?

6. CUSTOM DISCIPLINE MASTERS
This happens all the time if you are getting your immigration clearance. Some of the officer face is as black as charcoal and never smile at all. But some are friendly enough to give a smile though. They are like Justice Boa face and so strict.

Some people tend to speak very loud over the phone conversation. He / She speaks so loud that the entire people surrounding is looking at him/her. These kind of people happened to be uncle or aunty usually and you will be irritated with the sound after a whole day of work or feeling tired. No offensive but most of the time, it just happened to be uncle or aunty or maybe youngsters.

8. “TSK TSK” KIND OF PEOPLE
“Tsk Tsk” is a sound made with the mouth indicating of disappointment or anger over someone. Are you the kind of person making such remarks when you feel irritated with the surrounding of people while you are in the queue? Or keep hearing people making such noise? These types of people just feel that the whole world is not doing justice for him/her. Everyone needs to accommodate to the way he/she like it. Best solution is to ignore

Not sure what other types of people you encounter while travelling the causeway. Do you have more to share? Do let me know so I can update this list. People always thought Malaysian working in Singapore is earning big bucks but the truth is not.Maybe some but not all because everyone some of them need to save and scrimp for a better future for the family back in Malaysia.
