I get to know Caffebene during my trip to Seoul, Korea few years ago. Caffebene is a large chain of Korean coffeehouse in Korea. The brand has been expanding overseas recent years. You can now have it here in Singapore and Malaysia! And Caffebene has finally opened their first JB outlet at JB City Square Mall recently. I visited the café last weekend before I headed back Singapore because it is strategically located inside the mall that link to JB immigration. So, why not? Their menu is rather straight forward. Their signature patbingsu – Korean Shaved Ice, toasts, waffles and coffee. So, I placed my order and make payment at the counter. The staff then gave me the beeper.
Since it is a self-order and collection, the total bill has no service charge and GST. I wanted to order Green Tea Bingsu but it was sold out that day. So sad! I ordered Coffee Bingsu (Single size) RM16.80 nett instead. Attractive dessert with ice-cream topping and crunchy ingredients in it. I was told the right way to enjoy the bingsu is actually to mix everything together before eating it. I felt like I am eating ice kacang because I usually have it the same way by mixing everything together. Truly coffee flavoured bingsu and I need to share this with a friend otherwise I surely cannot finish it all by myself.
Then, I bumped into Ken who currently working at the café. He was so nice to serve me complimentary Zetsy Chicken toast to try. This toast flavoured has a local twist in it and tint of spiciness as well. It is best to enjoy it with a cup of coffee.

The best part of the café is that they provide complimentary WIFI services. And if you notice, the price is relatively cheaper as compared to SGD due to the conversion rate. So, if you are hopping across causeway, you know where to go.
