[SG EATS] Redefining the Dining experience at Pies & Coffees

Pies & Coffees was founded in year 2011 and specialize in pies serving. They have recently launched new meals with different approach for diners. So, here are the new dishes for you to fare:-New England Clam Chowder Soup S$9.20
White clams are stir-fried with onions, carrots, potatoes, celeries and mixed herbs before fresh clam juice is added to the potpourri. Best to enjoy with the crusty bread bowl and can be a filling dish too. The soup taste was hearty but not the best one I ever tried. Nevertheless, it is quite decent with the price offer.

Curry Chicken Pot Pie S$14.50
Local flavours that are always well-received by locals. Be it with a bowl of rice or with bread. The chicken drumstick caught my attention with fat tender meats.

Hungarian Beef Goulash Pot Pie S$14.50
The Hungarian beef has been stewed for more than 5 hours and that explains the thickness and the rich flavors served on the table. It was well-received that night with the tender meat and savoury taste to go with the pie crust.

Barbecue Chicken Pie in Beetroot Crust S$11.90
If you are a beetroot lover, go for this. With the generous filling of chicken meats and BBQ sauce in it, you are done with the meal.

Charcoal Crust Curry Chicken Pie S$11.20
Different approach of enjoying curry chicken and Pies & Coffees are serving it with charcoal crust.

Croque Monsieur S$14.90
Olive-accented focaccia contains a medley of turkey ham and garlic turkey with béchamel sauce and mozzarella cheese. Pesto sauce is served as well. It is quite a filling one and best to have it with a cup of coffee or tea over tea break.

Lobster Bisque Baked Rice S$14.90
Sweetness from the seafoods enhanced the flavours of the baked rice. Onions, mixed herbs, carrots and celeries are then tossed in a prawn stock, which drenches the charboiled long-grain rice. The lobster bisque sauce is prepared as long as 6 hours to produce the sweet note for the dish. I love the cheesy taste that lingers in between the palate.
