[SG EATS] TUK TUK CHA | SUNTEC CITY
Tuk Tuk Cha located at Suntec City that opened on July 2015 has been receiving good reviews and feedback on social media platforms. Thus, I took the opportunity to try it before I headed to a tasting beforehand with the foodies.
Tuk Tuk Cha is a Thai- dessert kiosk with limited seats. So, most of the customers will order and take away at the cashier counter. We are quite lucky that there are spaces for us to hang around to enjoy our orders that day.
Drinks
Houjicha S$4.80 | Thai Green Milk Tea S$2.80 | Thai Milk Tea S$2.80
Thai Milk Tea is the signature drink for any Thai cuisine and I would recommend giving a try. It is one of the authentic tastes I ever tried before. As for the Houjicha, I find it appealing and not too sweet for my preference.
Foods
The Golden Toast was highly recommended with more than 11 dips to choose from. Their famous choices are Pandan Kaya, Taro Kaya and Thai Tea Kaya. I didn’t get to take picture of this but the Pandan Kaya was really good.
Shibuya Toast S$10.80 with 4 different choices – Mango Tango, Aloha Coconut, Tuk Tuk Matcha and Chocolate Goodies. We tried Aloha Coconut and totally in love with it. The shibuya toast was presented with Thailand-imported Coconut flesh and coconut ice-cream. The toast was crispy and the coconut ice-cream was refreshing.
Mango Sticky Rice S$6.00 is just right with its stickiness and well balance of the coconut milk. I can taste the pandan flavours in the glutinous rice too. You will never go wrong pairing with the mangoes that are slice into cubes.
