When I receive an invitation from Loacker, the first thing that came into my mind was “Oh!This brand that my mum used to buy for our breakfast and snacking time at home!”. Loacker was founded in 1925 way back many years ago and the brand has been going strong in the market. I bet everyone has tried this brand before.

In conjunction of it’s 90^th anniversary this year, Loacker launched its new Raspberry-Yoghurt flavour in Singapore. This new addition flavour is a delicate new taste, tart and creamy with the same fresh crispness of its other flavours. I tried it and enjoyed it with a cup of tea. I think it will be a good options for students rushing for assignments and burning midnight oil for exams. The packaging was packed conveniently and in easy-bite size.

The launch of the Raspberry-Yoghurt flavour event was hosted at Two Bakers a week ago. The highlight was the desserts table that was set up nicely at a corner. The table was filled with creative desserts designed by the chef of Two Bakers with the inclusion of Loacker’s wafers. It was a splendid virtual eye-catching desserts display where all of started snapping away.

Before we start to indulge with the sweet treats, we were served with our choice of main course and a drink by Two Bakers. I had the Butternut Mushroom Risotto for my dinner before I get my hands on the desserts plate.

Once we satisfy our savoury buds, we move on to try the creative creations by Two Bakers. The chef has prepared Tiramisu with Espresso Loacker wafer, Panna Cotta glass verrine with raspberry sauce and milk vanilla wafer, Chocolate cake with chocolate cream and Napolitaner wafers as decorations, Mini Ricotta cheesecake with raspberry wafer and more. Each desserts has its own uniqueness and the chef did a good job in putting the wafers in together to create a new way of having Loacker.

We also get our hands on DIY cupcakes as a gift before we ended the event. This is my version of DIY cupcakes with Loacker wafers on top as the decoration.

Loacker’s new Raspberry-Yoghurt flavour and other flavours can be found in selected NTUC FairPrice, Cold Storage, 7-Eleven, Cheers outlets and selected cafes islandwide (The Sandwich Shop Pte Ltd, The Canopy Café Pte Ltd, Ah Dong Teh House, Doi Chaang Coffee (Clementi & Rochester), and Ice Cream Chefs).
