[TRAVEL GUIDE] HOW TO GET TO SOMERSET MEDINI SERVICE APARTMENT NUSAJAYA, JOHOR BAHRU

If you are planning for a trip to Legoland Malaysia over the weekend, you can check out the latest service apartment, Somerset Medini. The service apartment is under Ascott Limited which is subsidiary company of Capitaland Group. You can read about my stay here.
So, this post is to share on how to get to the hotel by public transport. Hope it is useful for you guys!
BY BUS
From Singapore to Somerset Medini Nusajaya
BUS CW3 & 4 (Jurong East) / BUS CW/ (Boon Lay) > BUS CW7L (Medini Mall) > Walk over to the hotel.
BUS 170/160 , CW1 (Kranji) > JB Sentral> BUS LM1 (Legoland Malaysia) > walk pass Medini Mall and the hotel is just opposite the mall.

BY TAXI/ CAB
Take a cab from JB Sentral will cost you approximately RM30- RM60. Do take note that the taxi demand is more than supply at night time. Thus, they will most likely charge a fixed rate instead of going by metre.
BY UBER
I highly recommend not taking UBER over from JB Sentral especially during night time. I tried to go by UBER but it shows that the price is 3 X more than the standard pricing. Do avoid travelling at night over.

I tried taking Grabcar from JB Sentral to Somerset Medini around 11:50PM on friday night. It was RM25.00.You might want to compare the price before you decide the best travel transport.
BY CAR
Advisable to drive from CIQ 2nd Link (Tuas) to the hotel as the distance is nearer. Take the same route to Legoland Malaysia and you will reach your destination.
Alternatively, book a private city transfer from Singapore to Johor Bahru using Klook. This is best solution if you are travelling with family or big groups.
