Hua Hin Hills Vineyard is one of the attraction place I have been during my recent trip to Hua Hin after looking at social media feeds. My travel mates and I also headed to other attractions in Hua Hin which I will blog more about it soon. Meanwhile, check out this post on my experience with Hua Hin Hills Vineyard which located at the west of the town. We took approximately 45 minutes drive to reach this winery place.

Entrance to the restaurant

Usually Asian countries are not wine producing country due to the weather climate but after some research done in Thailand, Hua Hin is one of the several vineyards that are able to produce quality wines. Hua Hin Hills Vineyard covers 560 acres of mountain valley and it is truly a photogenic moment.
They offer activities such as elephant riding in the vineyard, appreciating the process of grapes cultivation, wine tasting, jeep tours and more. But we did do it because we are here for lunch at The Sala Wine Bar & Bistro. The restaurant has the most panoramic view of the entire vineyard.
The staffs here are all trained to speak English so that they can communicate with tourists and attend to the diners. Here are the foods that we ordered through their menu. We felt that the price is similar dining back in Singapore restaurant but the portion here is much smaller in size.
Having said that, we are actually paying for the panoramic view as well. To be frank, one time experience is enough and I would rather dine in elsewhere for a better bargain. There are flies around the places and we need to keep them away from our food and drinks. Nevertheless, it is a good experience here.

We ended the meal with the purchase of ice-cream from the restaurant. Do take note that if you are intending to have the ice-cream after your meal, my advice is to pay the ice-cream separately at the counter so that they will not include the service charge into your dining bill. I had mine exclude in the service charge but my travel mates are paying the ice-cream with service charge. This is quite tricky!

The restaurant also sells souvenir and gifts if you wish to purchase their merchandise. As for us, we went off after lunch for our next stop.
