TECH GADGET] REVIEW: MY LOVE & HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH ASUS ZENPAD C7.0

ASUS ZENPAD C7.0
I blog about ASUS Zenfone sometime back and thanks to ASUS team, I get to experience on ASUS Zenpad C7.0 recently. ASUS has made their tablets affordable and stylish. Users can get the ASUS Zenpad C7.0 with only S$199.00 which is quite pocket-friendly for tablet. So, now you know you have another choice for tablet hunting!

The ZenPad C7.0 is available with 4 different colours – Obsidian Black, Pearl White, Aurora Metallic and Glamour Red in the market. I got mine for review in elegant leather pattern in black colour.

What I like?

1. Easy to Carry / Bring Along
The ASUS ZenPad C7.0 is portable and easy carry along tablet with only weight of 265g and thickness of 8.4mm. It was quite friendly as I can just slip it into my bag and carry along all day long. I even bring it along for brunch session with my friend.

2. Affordable Price
As mentioned earlier, with S$199.00 only, this tablet is affordable and the value seems like outweighs its price tag. It’s an alternative option for those who feel that they do not want to get pricey tablets. This can be a gift for loved ones too! I think my parents will love it because they can watch drama from the tablet instead on the small screen from smartphone.

3. DTS-HD Premium Sound and Sonic Master Technology
Well, what I usually do with tablet is to make full use of the size of the screen to watch dramas and movie. I was quite surprised that Zenpad features the DTS-HD Premium Sound and Sonic Master technology that provide a good audio experience throughout the drama/ movie. I enjoyed the sound effect throughout the online streaming show.

4. ASUS ‘Tru2Life Technology’
ZenPad also features ASUS ‘Tru2Life Technology’ that has realistic images with accurate contrast, sharpness and details. It was clear, bright and the colour contrast was on point.

5. Storage Space
Actually, I was quite contented with the storage space provided with the price I paid for ZenPad. It has 16GB internal Storage, 5GB ASUS webstorage free for life and 100GB of Google Drive space for 2 years (limited to one claim per account). That’s a lot for me already. I think I can download quite a number of drama series and thousand over photos with the amount of storage space.

What I don’t like?
Even though Zenpad C7.0 is powered by an ‘Intel Atom x3-C3230 Processor’, I still find it a bit lag. The responsive performance wasn’t that appealing sometimes. But with the price offer, I wouldn’t complain much though. I tried using it to catch #pokemongo , my pokeball just couldn’t throw over timely when i ‘throw’ it. This happens when i used it for long and it started to ‘hang’.

I trust that every product have its pros and cons in terms of specification and features. You can always read the product specifications from their official website for better understanding and judgement. I am not a technical person but this is my experience having using the loan ZenPad for 2 weeks time. Feel free to share your views and experience with ASUS products.
