The Dreamliner Airways Café is Malaysia’s first ever Aviation theme café in Johor Bahru that opened September this year. I visited the café end September with my sister. I realized that I haven’t shared my visit here. I took quite sometime to locate the café as the location is quite away from the usual café spots.

We finally arrived with the help of google map and it was around 4pm plus and we managed to secure a table. It was still new and people just flooding into the café. Business was good with full reservation during dinner time.

The westernized-style café with airline-theme replicate the flight seats and even has a passenger seat numbering as well. It feels like boarding the plane to have a meal. The service staffs also in cabin crew uniform.

We ordered Fish & Chips RM16.90 and 4pcs Korean Chicken Wings RM16.90 along with a glass of Yuzu drink RM11.90 to share. The waiting time was 45minutes and we need to keep asking the staff when our food is going to be served. We also noticed that the table next to us also have the same issue.

Finally our foods and drink arrived. The visual does not look appetizing at all. The fish & chips looked dry and tasteless. We didn’t even bother to finish it at all.The Korean chicken wings were major disappointment. The sauce totally not coated on the chicken wings at all.

Total bill was RM48.00 inclusive of 5% service charge. Will I be back again? I think NO. The service and foods here sucks. The service staffs are not attentive at all and we need to wave our hands high enough to get their attention. Perhaps their food and services have improved gradually by now. If you are interested with theme-café, you might want to check them out but not their food though.
