A couple of weeks left to the season of giving! If you haven’t got a place to celebrate, Morganfield’s Singapore could be what you are looking for.

With Christmas ingredients like cranberries, hazelnut, ham and many more… We present Morganfield’s Singapore’s Christmas menu 2017.

Starting off with the Cranberry Ham Salad S$15.90++. This appetiser put you right into the festive mood.With shaved premium gammon ham teaming up with greens drizzled with tangy cranberry dressing; I felt that this appetiser is good to start off the meaty feast.

Next, Candied Bacon S$9.90++. This is one of my favourites from the menu. The bacon was not too oily and the sweetness level was not overpowering. It reminds me of the Chinese New Year Bak Kwa.

Crackling Pork Roast S$13.90++
This dish did not stand out very well for me but the sauce that came along with it was pretty unique when it pairs up with the pork belly.(Note: Photo taken is the takeaway menu’s Crackling Pork Roast)

It isn’t Christmas at Morganfield’s if you don’t order the Morgan’s Christmas Feast S$149.90++. This platter is perfect for 4-5 pax and is bound to keep your belly happy. The platter consists of the juicy half slab Hazelnut Sticky Bones, Cranberry Sticky bones (S$12.90++) and Christmas favourites like sausages and ham.
Personally, the cranberry sticky bones were my top favourite. The taste is sweeter yet flavourful as compared to the Hazelnut Sticky bones. For ribs lover, the meat texture is tender and the sauce balanced out very well. Be careful, you might end up licking your fingers too!
If platter isn’t your thing, Morganfield’s offers the ribs individually too at S$12.90++ for a half slab and S$46.90+ for a full slab.

For drinks, try out their Christmas Fruit Tea S$7.90++ per glass/ S$18.90++ per pitcher. It is great thrist quencher this festive season. The tea is sweet and filled with delicious fruit chunks and refreshes your taste bud for the next servings of ribs. If you are looking for something more alcoholic, order the Somersby Summer Punch S$19.90++. You will get the sparking Somersby mix with vodka, which is a good complement to end the festive night on a high note. Personally I prefer the Christmas Fruit Tea as the punch was a bit too fizzy to my liking.

And lastly, the night is not completed until desserts are served. The Black Forest Lava Cake S$16.90++ is a great twist to the modern lava cake. Although the one I had didn’t have chocolate lava flowing out, the taste will not disappoint.

Morganfield’s Christmas menu has been a merry host to my taste buds and it should be one towards you too. They are also available for takeaways and deliveries with at least 4 hours in advance order.
