[SG EATS] Ramen Nagi At Suntec City Tower 2
Ramen Nagi is the latest ramen stall located at Suntec City Tower 2. With over 50 outlets spread across Asia, Ramen Nagi is the award winning ramen chain from Tokyo. Helmed by the renowned Ramen Master, Chef Ikuta Satoshi, Ramen Nagi has won the hearts of many ramen fanatics. The ramen chain has since expanded throughout the region with 22 outlets in its native Japan and 28 overseas franchised branches.
I visited the place on a rainy Monday evening which is perfect for a ramen day. Ramen Nagi is currently serving four ramen in the menu.
Original King (Butao) S$13.90
The signature tonkotsu pork broth prepared in the traditional method which is also my favourite ramen among the rest. The broth is thick, rich and creamy in flavour. Customers can opt for the noodles texture ( hard, normal, soft ) during the ordering stage.
Black King (Kuroo) S$15.90
The ramen comes in fragrant blackened garlic, squid silky broth. Same goes with the noodles texture options as well as the ingredients. The broth is much stronger in taste as compared with the original version. The flavour is robust and well-balanced.
Red King (Akao) S$15.90
Spicy lovers would love this bowl of goodness. Red King inclusive of spice from cayenne pepper, chilli oil, striking blend of garlic and miso-infused minced pork. Customers get the option to customize the spicy level.
Green King (Midorio) S$15.90
It’s a fusion ramen I would say. The ramen is a fusion of fresh basil, olive oil and topped with grated parmesan cheese. Personally I don’t really enjoy it but I heard feedback that this is quite popular among the ladies.
Just like other ramen ordering, the order chit includes the ingredients to add on to the ramen. This includes pork chashu, pork belly, seaweed, tamago and others. The pork chashu is soft in texture and you prefer fats, go for the pork belly. The additional add-ons start from S$2.00 onwards.
Definitely one of my favourite ramen shops around town area. I will drop by if I am around the vicinity area for a quick meal. The serving time was pretty fast and customers get to enjoy pipping hot bowl of ramen. Also, the taste reminds me of Ichiran Ramen. Same same but different though. It’s all subject to personal preferences.
